Team
Setup Features
- Select the number
of innings, infielders, and outfielders to suit your league.
- Select either a
single batting order or a batting order for each inning.
- Set the number
of batters equal to or less than the number of players depending on
your league and the substitution rule you select.
- Select the DH and
EH rules if allowed in your league.
- Enter fielding
position names to match the requirements of your league.
- Enter the number
of minimum defensive innings each player must play.
- Players can be
designated male or female (M/F) in the roster window. If you coach co-ed
softball the program will warn you if more than 5 M's or F's are positioned
in any inning of your fielding lineup.
Display
and Editing Features
- Select your default
preferences for the editing and format of lineups.
- Switch among any
of the four edit modes from within a lineup window to take advantage
of the drag and drop, or click to place methods.
- Clear players on
an inning-by-inning basis or from the entire lineup.
- Copy an inning
and paste to any other inning.
- Cancel changes
by restoring lineups on an inning or entire lineup basis.
- Bench positions
are filled automatically if all fielders are placed in an inning.
- The fielding lineup
window includes a running total of the number of innings each player
is positioned at infield, outfield, and on the bench.
- Depending on the
edit mode, players already in position are disabled in the roster list
so eligible players can be easily selected.
- Individual players
can be highlighted to aid in checking their positioning throughout a
batting or fielding lineup.
- Marking players
as absent causes them to be automatically disabled in the roster, and
replaced in the current batting and fielding lineups.
- Experienced users
can choose to disable tool tips and some warning messages.
Print
and Report Features
- Fielding lineups
can be printed in graphical (diamond) or tabular format. In tabular
form, both player versus position and position versus player formats
are available.
- In the graphical
format the number of innings each player is the infield, outfield and
on the bench is recorded to help coaches make changes at the game.
- Depending on your
game setup, portrait and landscape output is available as well as some
printer resolution and font options.
- Batting lineup
cards include order #, fielding position code, and scheduled and available
substitutes.
- Batting and fielding
lineups can be exported in a text format for importing to a spreadsheet
or other application.
- Scoring sheets
can be printed for your team and your opponent with a game title including
the team names, game location, game time and game date. Your team scoring
sheet can also include the batting lineup and any substitutions.
