Team Setup Menu

The Team Setup window lets you configure BaseLinePro for the # of innings played and the specific batting and fielding arrangement of your baseball or softball league.

First time users must select their game parameters including: # of players, # of batters, # of infielders, # of outfielders, # of innings, # of staff members and # of Minimum Play Innings.

The # of players you choose here in the Team Setup determines the # of cells for input in the Roster menu. Also, you must match the # of infielders and the # of outfielders with your entries in the Fielding Names menu. The # of batters would be set to 9 for regular baseball rules, but in leagues where all players bat without substitution, set the # of batters = the # of players.

BaseLinePro now supports the designated hitter rule and 1 or 2 extra hitters. Combining this with a new Substitution Rule feature that covers most baseball and softball leagues, means your Batting and Fielding Lineups are even easier to create.
